About Us
Soap Opera was set up by Sonja Benavidez in 2009 with the aim of supporting the festival circuit and the touring music industry. Sonja's 32 years of experience running around backstage gave her the idea of creating a mobile laundry facility with a short turnaround time for artists and crew alike.
The idea was a good one and from 2009 Soap Opera has serviced many prestigious music and sporting events across the UK, Europe and even Australia.
All festivals are serviced from our custom built laundry unit. Our mobile laundry unit is fully equipped to deal with a variety of outdoor events from music festivals to The Royal Windsor Horse Show. We can also cover stadium concert tours and other one-off events with our bespoke washer and dryer carts. All laundry is dealt with on-site enabling a quick turnaround on event towels and all other laundry requests.
We endeavour to operate a green approach in all aspects of our business.
